About Trans-It! Astrologistics

Trans-It! AstroLogistics is run by astrologer and astro*carto*grapher Helene Schnitzer.

The name, 'Trans-It!' is a bit of a pun, that plays on transcending the everyday issues we all have to deal with and seeing one's life in a greater context, to discover meaning and purpose. It also reminds us that all is transitory, good times and challenging periods. And last but not least, to determine what kind of time quality prevails for how long, astrology uses, among other techniques, transits, i.e. movements of the planets in the sky that relate to the planet positions at birth. So, to navigate your life path, AstroLogistics are the way to go!

At age seventeen and with the help of my first Astrology book, I taught myself how to calculate a natal chart. And that was it, I was hooked!

Many years and many books later, I went professional. In the interim, I had moved from Germany to the Netherlands, where I went through my first six months course with Mellie Uyldert. This was followed by the four-year professional training course at Karen Hamaker-Zondag’s Achernar School for Astrology and Related Sciences in Amstelveen. This school focuses mainly on psychological astrology, so it seemed natural to follow a two-year introduction to Jungian Psychology at the same school as well. Over the decennia I attended numerous courses, conferences, seminars and workshops with some of the greatest astrologers of our time, Robert Hand, Liz Greene, Bernadette Brady and Robert Zoller, to name but a few.

Along the way, I picked up the Continuum Astro*Carto*Graphy Certificate Level I & II (teaching proficiency).

Since 2001 I live in the UK, to start with in London, where I worked at the Astrological Lodge of London as a member of the steering committee, teacher and lecturer. During my time at ‘the Lodge’ as members lovingly call it, I added Traditional, Horary and Hellenistic Astrology to my astrological repertoire and privately studied on with my partner, the astrologer Les Bailey. In the meantime, I was also writing, translating and editing astrological texts, and giving personal readings, face to face and over the phone at Astro Livelink (2001-2015). In 2003 I also became an active member of the Wheel of Astrologers, a loose association of like-minded astrologers who give readings and workshops in a festival environment.

In 2008 I left London and moved to Glastonbury in the South West of England, where I gave personal readings at the Bridget Healing Centre for almost three years , and also worked as a volunteer for the Library of Avalon, a treasure trove of esoteric literature (http://libraryofavalon.org.uk ) . These days, I am working from home, face-to-face and via phone, Zoom or Messenger.

Since I went professional in 1986, I have analysed thousands of horoscopes for people from all walks of life, regarding a great variety of subjects. In my work with individuals and couples I subscribe to the motto of Maria Montessori: “Help me to do it myself”.
